Kumu Paʻa Nui Lawrence Kalainia Kamani Aki is the 50th generation of Traditional Hawaiian Teachings from Halawa Valley, Molokai, Hawaiʻi.

He was born, and raised traditionally by his maternal grandparents, in the Valley of Halawa, Molokai.

Kumu Lawrence did ʻūniki (ritual graduation) with Kumu Hula ʻAnakala Pilipo Solatorio to Kumu Paʻa (Teacher of Foundation) in 1998 in traditional Hawaiian protocol.

Kumu Hula ʻAnakala Pilipo Solatorio of Nā Mea Kāne Hula O Molokai, recognized by the State of Hawaiʻi as a Treasure, became 83 years of age, and passed on in June 2023.

Kumu Paʻa Nui Lawrence Aki has helped people in Hoʻoponopono sessions, workshops, retreats, and online classes find their spiritual path to living in Aloha and Pono and reconnect with their family, Ancestors, and Hawaiian culture.
